The most controversial crowning for a beauty pageant..ever!!
This happened on the 2006 Mrs. World Pageant held in Russia.
It was clear that Russia's name was announced as the winner (luto?!) but the crown was still placed on the first runner up, Mrs. Costa Rica.
And then, all the bitch talk to Mrs. Russia came out from those in favor of Mrs. Costa Rica to win the crown.
The funny part here for me? They had to re-shoot the whole crowning sequence with Mrs. Russia acting as if she never knew she was the winner with only a few handful delegates only remaining on stage. And where's the 1st Runner Up? Already in the backstage! LOL
Complete fiasco!
