Glee - Chasing Pavements

I liked Adele's "Chasing Pavements" ever since she went mainstream with that "Rolling In The Deep" song. And this is the 5th Adele song ever to be featured in Glee.

Apart from Dean Geyer, I also like that new girl from Glee, Melissa Benoist who is singing the lead on this performance.

I must admit I cried the first time I saw the part where Rachel & Kurt see each other for the first time in New York.

Rumer - It Might Be You

Here's one of my favorites from Rumer. Still from her debut CD "Seasons of My Soul [Deluxe Edition]".

I wish she'd do a concert here in Manila, I'll definitely watch!

The timeless 'It Might Be You' by Stephen Bishop.

Rumer - Goodbye Girl/On My Way Home

Here's another great performance from Rumer.

I just love her version of "Goodbye Girl", and original song "On My Way Home", a song about her mother, both very ethereal and available on her CD "Seasons of my Soul"

Rumer - Slow

So I discovered a new artist again over the weekend and it's none other than Rumer.

Her voice and singing style is quite similar to Karen Carpenter and thus hailed as the New Karen Carpenter. Some, disagree.

I sampled her album "Seasons of My Soul" and "Slow" is my favorite song in the album.

She really has this haunting and very soothing voice!

Tina Arena - Wouldn't It Be Good

Tina Arena's version of Nik Kershaw's 1984 hit song. And it's a great cover! It solidified my respect for this underrated Australian diva. Wel, I've always been a fan since 1997's "In Deep".

This track also from her 2008 CD Songs of Love & Loss Volume 2.

Tina Arena - Welcome To My World

"Some days there's a river of raging pain
Some days there's a lover to drive you insane
But what you give me I don't really mind
All I ask is please be kind"

One of my fave tracks from Tina Arena's 1997 album "In Deep".

This will be one of the songs for my anniversary CD with June.

Dave Koz - At The Movies

Great selections. My personal favorites were "Over The Rainbow" (of course!), "Moon River", "The Way We Were" and the 2 "It Might Be You".

Dave Koz is one of the gay people that I admire. I wish I could catch him perform live if ever he toured Manila again in the future.

If you love movies and jazz, this one is for you.

Barbara Morrison - I Can't Make You Love Me

Best cover version of this classic song out there! Walang panama ang ibang remake versions dyan.

Yep, sentir-mode pa rin ako.

This was shared a member of my first Yahoo! Groups way back in 2005 but in MP4 format. I converted it to MP3 and voila!

I ran a research on Barbara Morrison but I can't find this track on any of her CDs, even on her own website. Kinda weird though.
