Two Years: Primer

In less than a week, this blog, my blog, my baby, will celebrate its two years of existence. Though I actually started sharing *g* stuffs on the internet 6 years ago, this blogging thing is my most personal offering to date.

When I had my Yahoo! Groups, I seldom rant, nor vent out personal issues or shortcomings in my life.

With this new place, I was able to share more stuffs aside from the usual like the music, videos and the hot men. I feel more comfortable here.

I met new friends, textmates and other mates you can think of, as well as Darwin of course.

In a few days time, this blog will be 2 years old. I know this may not be your best gay blog on the net, nor the most 'so-called' intellectual gay blog on the planet, not even your hottest gay blog paradise. It may be even an ordinary gay blog run by an ordinary Pinoy gay guy, but damn I've sweat and cried hard to make every post enjoyable and keep this blog up and running.

It's hard to say goodbye. It really is. Last few weeks were a complete fiasco. And I couldn't really let this blog go. I was about to, but I just can't.

There IS a reason why you guys (yes, you!) still check out my blog each day even though I don't update that often. And with that, I am eternally grateful.

I hope you guys will still stay on the road for at least the next two years.

Once again, thank you for all the support! And yeah, I am back.

Starbucks @ Shaw

The Starbucks branch at the Worldwide Center in Shaw (formerly Annex @ Shaw) opened 2 weeks ago, and oh I am so thankful they finally put up a store near our site.

I have to go to the one near Teleperformance pa (Uy! Plugging! Nyehehe!). Scary kaya tumawid sa Crossing-EDSA during our 'Lunch' breaks at 2 in the morning! Shucks!

Anyway, my favorite's Chocolate Cream Chip of course. I have tried others like Java Chip and Mocha Praline but the best pa rin Choco Cream Chip.

I don't drink coffee so I don't pick them, LOLz!

Sa food, da best ang brownies and 'yung Choco Caramel cake. I have tried the Oreo Cheesecake, naumay ako on the last half of the slice! Yikes!

And I never imagined I'll walk in a Starbucks store. Before, I was like, "Coffee for more than a hundred pesos?! Geez! Ano ako, sira?!" Pero wag ka, kinain ko rin sinabi ko. Haha!

There are days na bad trip ako or simply wala lang akong magawa sa P200 ko, I'd go and treat myself for a Starbucks drink.

It's a pity di ko naabutan 'yung 2008 Journal Book nila. I'll have to get the 2009 then!

New single from Mariah Carey. I like this better than "Touch My Body". Maybe because T-Pain was in it?

Can't wait for the new CD though. Kainis lang bumili kasi ng CDs these days. After a few months (or even days), they'll release a repackaged edition with bonus tracks. Leche! (Sorry for the rant, can't help it!)

Open letter to the readers of this blog

To the readers of his blog,

I will not be updating this blog and the XXX blog in the mean time. I will re-assess everything and will decide if I need to continue this blogging thing.

I am on an emotional rollercoaster at this point and I can't focus especially at work. My daily sales dropped significantly during the last couple of days. Idagdag pa dyan work & family issues.

There's a lot of things going on in my mind right now. I need a time-out. Emotionally and physically.

I will also disable post commenting. Nobody post comments anyway. I wonder my download files gets up to a thousand download hits but get only 1 or 2 comments, at most zero. Sorry for the rant, it's true anyway.

Chat box will also be removed.

Please forgive me if I want to be alone for a couple of days, maybe weeks. I have posts already set for March, but will leave them for the time being.

After 4 days, I will break my silence.

I must admit, I got mad about your previous post in your blog. I wish you could've let me explain my side first.

And I apologize if I have overlooked and became insensitive on your feelings if ever I deliver you the news regaring my reconciliation with my ex-boyfriend.

I'm sorry, Josh.

The truth is, I am not like some people who will take advantage of the feelings of a person just because they are frustrated or depressed over a recent failed relationship. I've experienced that. We went out, offered a commitment to love each other, even introduced me to his so-called circle of friends, but after a month he realized he can't (seriously) love me for he is still in love with the person before me.

I won't do that to anyone, least of all to you. You're a very nice guy. Everyone knows that.

I can feel that you like me, or to the least degree. Like I said, I'm not dumb. And I appreciate all the affection, care, love and passion that you've given and showed me. I shall cherish them forever.

I'm sorry if I didn't talk out things with you.

I'm sorry if I wasn't able to inform you about Darwin.

I'm sorry for being insensitive and unkind.

I am putting all the blame on my end. It is my fault.

I am sure of my feelings for Darwin, but I wasn't very open with you.

For the last couple of days, I kept thinking, "Did I made the right decision in getting Darwin back?", "Don't I deserve to be happy?", "Should I really get back with him?", "Will this reunion end my friendship with Josh? Will Josh and his readers hate me for the rest of their lives?"

I don't know what to think or to say anymore.

But like what I texted you last Tuesday night, I wanted you to be a friend, for life. Friendship is the strongest relationship there is. I have to admit that. There's a lot of guys out there I've met that I'd rather keep as a friend than to have a romantic relationship with and you are one of them.

Lovers will come and go, but friends will always stay by your side no matter what happens.

I'm not saying that Darwin and I won't last, but it would be cynical of me or any gay guy to even imagine that a gay relationship lasts forever. But yeah, I am still wishing he's the one.

Just setting myself expectations about gay love. It IS a complicated thing. It really is.

Again, from the bottom of my heart, I'm sorry Josh if I have caused you pain.

I hope you'll accept my apologies as I have embraced yours.
