Movie Time: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
I can remember watching the "Raiders of the Lost Ark" on Betamax when I was a kid. It came out on the year I was born. Hehe!
Agent J and I went to see this one last Friday night, May 30 at Robinson's Galleria. we actually opted for Eastwood but canceled due to time constraints and stress due to our shopping spree.
I enjoyed the last half of the film. But the main details is of course important on the first half.
I like Cate Blanchett's performance here, as well as Shia. Funny as usual. I can't wait for his future films.
I saw the recent GQ Magazine wherein he was the cover. I'd like to buy it sana kaso my gass! Almost PhP500! Sheez!

Kem - Fascination
Super song of the moment.
I heard this last week when Agent J and I were having our breakfast at McDonald's-Worldwide Corporate Center.
To think it was our first month-sary and well...nice background music I guess..
I told him this song is a perfect music to slow dance on a candle-lit room..haayyy....

Movie Time: Speed Racer
This is my second movie with Agent J. Again, he's the one who picked this one when we went to see "Iron Man".
I was like, "Okay, treat naman nya ulet so okay lang."
When the day came to see this one, I was still hesitant. But boy, I was all wrong when we got to finally see it. It was great! And the story is okay as well! Cute yung 3 male leads, penned by Matthew Fox of course!
And the effects was superb as well! Parang gusto ko siyang bilin sa DVD and watch it all again.
The best thing was, hindi siya naging Pinoy-ending wherein the older brother chose not to reveal himself to his family. Personally, it would have been a happy ending if he did.
Again, we went to see this one in the afternoon but this time sa Greenbelt. Imagine, nakarating pa kami ng Makati nyan! LOLz He needs to cash a cheque at RCBC-Arnaiz kasi.

Lea, My Life...On Stage
(courtesy of Ambient Events)
Waahh! I may not be able to watch this. I got his info just a few days ago. And I haven't recovered financially due to my recent Puerto Galera trip.
I just hope they will also release this one on DVD and live audio CD.
The "My Life...On Stage" concert will be held on May 23 & 24, 8 PM at the PICC Plenary Hall. With the FILharmoniKa orchestra, to be directed by Freddie Santos and produced by Ambient Events.
This event is in celebration of Lea's 30 years in show business.
Log on to www.mylifeonstage.com or text LEA and send to 7878 for more details.

Vincent Bueno: Fil-Austrian hunk
Fil-Austrian Vincent Bueno released his first solo CD in Vienna, Austria. The title track is "Sex Appeal".
I wish I could grab a copy of this one. Or better yet, sana ma-release din 'yung album nya here in the Philippines.
Read the full article here courtesy of PEP.
Check out his website as well. He's hot!
David Archuleta - Here I Am
Saw this one on YouTube a month ago. The song will perfectly suit David Archuleta for the win. I hope they will pick this one for him.
I am actually a bit worried David Cook will bag the title this year.
It's okay for me whoever won this year though. At least if Archuleta placed second, he can record (or his dad) any song he wants. LOLz
NOTE: The song is an entry to the American Idol Songwriting contest and is only a demo version. It is not David Archuleta singing the song.

'Lihim Ni Antonio' out now on VCD & DVD
YAY! When I got here in Alabang for my weekend visits to sweet ol' home, I dropped by at Festival Mall (to shop, of course!) and I was astounded to see the 'Ang Lihim Ni Antonio' DVD was released already! Damn! It made my day!
Dapat kanina pa ako umaga uuwi, I can't leave Agent J kasi..so 'hard' to leave him. (Parang isang araw lang kami di magkikita, hehe!)
Anyway I digressed again. Go get your own copy na guys! I am not sure nga lang if this is an unrated or a director's cut. Walang nakalagay sa package.
The DVD is PhP375 while the VCD is at PhP250. The bonus material for the DVD is a special Behind-The-Scenes footage. Can't wait to get home na! LOLz

Wow! At least if I had an opportunity to go the the States, I know where I'll go to.
I half-cried reading the news article. We can only hope for that status here in our own country. Haaay...

Movie Time: The Bucket List
I am so moved by this film that I nearly cried towards the end. I remembered Lola kasi.
By the way, this one is actually a Film Feature in our company. May free popcorns siya in fairness. And the time slot I chose was 10pm-12mn since my sked is 1am to 10am.
In our program, I am the only one who went to see the movie. I guess most people are not interested in it.
I remember seeing the billboards for this film along EDSA waiting sheds and thought, "Wow! Morgran Freeman and Jack Nicholson in one film?!"
Unfortunately I wasn't able to actually see it in a moviehouse. So when the frontdesk sent the first notice for the Film Feature and it was "The Bucket List", I signed-up immediately.
The movie was great. That is already expected. However, I can't remove the notion that it is somewhat a 'gay' film since there's this 2 men touring the world together. But on the serious note, of course they have a reason in doing so.
Lastly, I thought also to myself if I would want to have the option to know when my time's coming, or just let it be. Personally, I would love to have the opportunity to know when my time's up. At least I will have the chance to say goodbye (or sorry) to the people I love or will miss.
The bad side on that one is that ultimately there's the self-pity going in. I have been the 'self-pity' type of person most of my life, let alone the fact that I will be going soon. That would be horrible.
Overall, life is too short for anything. I'd like to enjoy every single day of my life with people whom I love and care for. I've learned a lesson with the passing of my grandmother before and I would not let that happen again.
