"US-based Conservation International lists the Philippines as one of 17 countries that harbours most of Earth's plant and animal life."

Kaya it's more fun and colorful in the Philippines! LOL

Jason Mraz - In Your Hands

I was able to sample Jason Mraz' newest album the other day and aside from "I Won't Give Up On Us", this is the other one I liked!

Makes you wanna cuddle with your special someone and rest in their arms forever!

Ian Roberts talks about being out personally and professionally

"I really think that being gay is like this wonderful gift, you get to see the world as it really is. There's not all those constraints that straight people are brought up to believe. When you family and friends learn to accept your sexuality, they gain from it as well. It's a real gift."

Wearing a tight-fitting Buzz Lightyear costume on a Los Angeles movie set, Ian Roberts is a long ways away from his days as a professional rugby player in Australia.

He calmly does take after take of a scene taking place at a Halloween party for the romantic comedy Saltwater where, ironically, it is his love interest (played by the film's writer, Ronnie Kerr) who is dressed as a rugby player.

Disneyland in the Philippines

Mickey Mouse greets tourists at the Tokyo Disneyland

This is great, but I fear that most Filipinos (myself included, I guess) may not afford the entrance fees to the theme park.

A one-way bus ride from Manila to Olongapo costs around 210 pesos. That is if you're alone. Eh yung pabalik pa?

But if it's a once in a lifetime experience to go there, why not?

The nearest would be Hong Kong Disneyland, that's an option.

Nevertheless, if this will push through, I hope it will be in my lifetime.

Sexy Whites

District Costumes - Hunger Games

Saw these last week and I was ecstatic because in the film, we can only get to see a glimpse of Districts 1, 2, 5, 10, 11 and of course 12. But these pictures are amazing! We get to see the headshot of each tribute partners per district.

I wish there are some HQ images available but these will do for now!

Most Controversial Coronation - Mrs. World 2006

The most controversial crowning for a beauty pageant..ever!!

This happened on the 2006 Mrs. World Pageant held in Russia.

It was clear that Russia's name was announced as the winner (luto?!) but the crown was still placed on the first runner up, Mrs. Costa Rica.

And then, all the bitch talk to Mrs. Russia came out from those in favor of Mrs. Costa Rica to win the crown.

The funny part here for me? They had to re-shoot the whole crowning sequence with Mrs. Russia acting as if she never knew she was the winner with only a few handful delegates only remaining on stage. And where's the 1st Runner Up? Already in the backstage! LOL

Complete fiasco!

Imagine if this *happened* in Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss Earth or Miss International!?
