Atty. Adel Tamano - UNO spokesman
Lawyer Adel Tamano is the spokesperson of the Genuine Opposition.
I've noticed him on television ever since and I finally got the chance to get to know a little more of his background.
What convinced me to admire him is the fact that he turned down some offers: a car, a condo unit and huge amount of money, from PGMA.
I hope he runs for Senate in 2010, he'll surely get my vote because he's so adorable!
(Oist! Miong, behave!)
Nah, but because of his endearing intelligence, dignity & hardwork.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed until January 2010.

Kudos to StarStruck's 'Leakage'
I am extending my heartfelt congratulations to Direk Maryo J. Delos Reyes, the crew & stars of StarStruck for their breakthrough episode on Dramaflicks last February 27 & 28 featuring "Leakage".
Their best episode throughout the entire StarStruck series.
PS: Pramis naiyak ako sa acting nila (Danger 8 and Miss Lorna Tolentino).

Fantasia - Two Weeks Notice
Fantasia is an underrated singer. I am very sad of what's happening to her career. Well, at least she'll be appearing soon on Broadway.
This song is great though. One of my faves on her self-titled sophomore CD.
An upcoming break-up is patterned to a job resignation, hehe! With all the contacts, raises, commisions and benefits. It's all metaphor by the way but I loved it!
Fantasia will be appearing on Broadway with "The Color Purple".

Lea Salonga & Menudo - That Situation
Bwahahaha! The classic of being in the late 80's!
Who would've thought that a few years later Ricky Martin will be a hot Latin breakthrough artist and Lea Salonga will rule the West End & Broadway and eventually grab a Tony Award!
Loved the dance moves!

TRANSCRIPT: RICO J. PUNO ON FORBIDDEN QUESTIONS (February 21, 2007)
1. What is the worst thing you've done to a fan?
Binigyan ko ng pera. Thank you lang, for services rendered.
3. Kapuso or Kapamilya: What is the better station?
Yung isa better, ung isa the best. Pero mas kumikita ako sa Kapamilya. Kumikita rin ako sa Kapuso.
5. Bigyan mo kami ng isang bad encounter with a local celebrity.
Sexually with Hajii medyo I'm not really satisfied. With Marco Sison pwede na, madami ring fans yan eh. Parang call boy ang dating.
6. What's the worst billboard in EDSA?
Ung kay Richard Gomez di ko gusto eh...the BELO billboard.
10 years old o 12. Well, that was very accidental atsaka bading.
8. When was the last time you viewed pornographic material?
Just last night. Madami kasi akong friends sa States, they bring in a lot of Playboy magazines as a collection. Pinamimigay din namin yun, even the Mayor of Makati saw one.
9. Have you ever done it with a prostitute?
Most of the time. At least pag dun walang commitment. But not anymore ah!
10. Who's celebrity has the worst BO?
Hindi ako maka-pick kasi we only have short period of times with other performers, one or two songs.
11. Give an animal that best describes the person. Umpisahan natin sa sarili ninyo:
Sa akin, giraffe. Because you know when you make love to a giraffe, nakakapagod yun eh.
12. Hajii Alejandro, an animal and why?
A rat.
13. The Mayor of Makati, best animal that describes and why?
Tiger yan! He has the eye of the tiger. The best Mayor ever. Number 4 in the world. Statistics sa internet yan, 2,000 mayors all over the world.
14. Rachelle Ann Go, best animal that describes and why?
Parang tuta. Sarap haplos-haplusin, halik-halikan, dila-dilaan.
Bastos eh.
16. Who is showbiz' most plastic person?
Actually all of them eh. Ako si Nonoy Zuniga. Eh kasi hanggang ngayon hindi pa niya sinasabing tatakbo siyang Vice Mayor ng Makati eh. Lagi naman kaming magkasama, ano ba naman yung sabihin niyang "Pare, pupunta kami jan sa inyo ha, tatakbo akong Vice Mayor"...
17. Sino ang worst dresser sa showbiz?
(caller suggested Keanna Reeves)
18. Who do you think is the most corrupt politician?
Corrupt is of course, the one in the administration. Like FG, like whoever, dami yan eh.
19. Which celebrity would you not like to see in politics?
Si Richard, I hope he changes his mind. Kasi first of all, as a friend, he doesn't have the experience.
20. If you could go on a date with a current politician, who would it be?
The representative of GenSan, Custodio. Palaban yun! I like her!
21. Which poltician has the worst theme song/advertising campaign jingle?
Si Pichay, di ko maintindihan.
22. Who is the most plastic politician?
Si Lito Lapid. Eh kasi, he was elected as Senator for six years Pagkatapos, he wants to go to Makati and tell Mayor and people, "I want to continue what you're doing today" How about your moral obligation for the poeple who voted for oy as a Senator.
23. Have you ever had plastic surgery?
Yes, one is an extension, one is my eyebags. Tinanggal by Calayan.
24. How big is your wang?
9 inches
25. How many girls have you gone to bed?
Madami na, 2,000. If you do it everyday. When you're in showbizness, when I was very very young, I will take one in the evening and leave let's say early before lunch. During lunch somebody comes, then you'll pick up someone at 4pm. I live in a condominium so I can do that.
26. What was the worst costume or outfit that you've ever worn during your performances?
Trying to be yung mga macho before yung masikip na pantalon, hindi kaya eh!
27. How much was the most you paid for sex?
As high as P10,000.
28. The least?
The least, pang-taxi lang. May chewing gum pang kasama 'yan.
29. Based on looks, sino sa tingin nyo among our celebrities ang hindi karapat-dapat nag-showbiz?
(caller suggested Marky Cielo)
--question passed--
29. You're a music icon, who is the most overrated singer ngayon?
Si willie Revillame. Nagagalit si Yoyoy Villame, ginagaya nya style nya eh. Mas magandang nagho-host sya. Yung composer nya (Lito Camo) magaling yun.
30. Who in local showbiz has yet to admit na nagpa-plastic surgery siya?
Si Lani Misalucha I think she has to accept. May surgery yun, probably yung banda sa may ilong.
Si Ruffa Mae yung boobs. Si Rachel Ann Go, yung ilong, nagpaganda ng ilong yan.
(Rico J. also mentioned Cesar Montano, Richard Gomez and Christian Bautista)
36. Where is the wildest place you've done it?
On top of a refrigator. But I did something at the back bathroom of an international airplane with a stewardess.
37. Give us 3 famous personalities that you have slept with?
(Rico J. Puno tapped out)

Congratulations to Emmanuel Mago
Anyway, congratulations to Emmanuel Mago for winning Mr. World Philippines 2007.
Special thanks to my friend March for informing me through SMS about this event. Muntikan ko nang makaligtaan ang TV telecast.
Looks like John Lopez either backed out or was disqualified. Siya pa naman major bet ko! At least Peiman Borja won Mr. Photogenic while Iago Raterta bagged 2 special awards.
Besides, if their criteria for the face is 50%, dapat pasok si Peiman dahil siya ang Mr. Photogenic! And the cameras didn't need to lie, he's drop-dead gorgeous!
And Iago Raterta was a semi-finalist on last year's Manhunt International [link]. The last time na nakuha sa semi-finals ang Pilipinas sa Manhunt International was in 1997 pa courtesy of Vincent Pinto. When we hosted the pageant in 1999, hindi tayo pumasok sa semi-finals!
I actually never thought Emmanuel would win. Yeah, hindi nga siya maganda magsalita just like a commentator said here. And I am a bit worried for him kasi he has less than a month to prepare for the Mr. World Pageant in China.
The show was staged on the timeslot of German Moreno's "Walang Tulugan" which he himself hosted together with John & Jackie Lou Blanco. The show started 12:30am and ended almost 3am na.
As expected, baduy ang opening number. You can see it in the faces of some candidates. Sheez! At ang production number sa formal wear! Dios me! Ginawang operatic ang Macho Gwapito ni Rico J. Puno! Makes me wanna throw out the TV set outside our house! Haayy!
He picked Pitoy Moreno and the question was something like "are you a loving son?". Ano ba yun?!
Jayson Fulgencio's answer was fine too! Sana siya na lang nanalo. And sayang din si Harly Ng, he looks smart. He and Jayson both went to Mapua so I bet they're really smart and intelligent!
Well, I wish all the luck to Emmanuel Mago.
Ronnie Liang - Isang Saglit, Isang Tingin
The 2007 theme of Skin White as performed by Pinoy Dream Academy finalist Ronnie Liang.
Cute pala boses nya. Well, I'm not a Kapamilya so I really didn't watch PDA. His other song "Kailan Kaya" is good as well!
LOLz

Katharine McPhee - Everywhere I Go
This is my current fave track from 2006 American Idol 1st runner-up Katharine McPhee's debut CD!
It's Mariah meets the PussyCat Dolls! Loved it!
I have a video concept thing going around again with this song. Since the title is "Everywhere I Go", the music video would be in different locations. Places where a typical urban American girl would go. Shopping stores, coffee shops, gym, bookstores, subways, everywhere. And with each and every location, it will remind Katharine of her past relationship with her "ex-boyfriend". Places they went together as a couple, watched movies, seen a basketball game, picked-up laundry together, etc. She is sometimes with her girlfriends trying to comfort her and keep her company but she assures them that she is (quite) OK.
Towards the end of the song when Katharine is alone, she will come to a place (a perfect setting would be on a busy New York street) where she will actually bump into her ex-boyfriend. She will smile at him and the guy will smile back. Although she's shocked at first for bumping into him when all of this time she can't get him off her mind.
When she walked past him, she will look sad. Her eyes will contemplate a lot of longing and desperation, so sorry for the failed relationship. The guy will turn his head back on her, quite concern if she's really OK and had moved on. Deep inside he still cares for her. And then the song ends.
Ok ba? LOLz
