Xian Lim - StarStudio (April 2012)

Kapamilya actor/model Xian Lim covers on the latest issue of StarStudio Magazine

I actually bought the Piolo Pascual issue last week and still haven't opened it. I guess I'll have to read both magazines by the time I get my hands on this Xian Lim ish. LOL

The Wanted - Rocket

I'm posting this not just because this is one of the two songs that I liked on The Wanted's 2nd CD, "Battleground". I just realized it was written by none other than Diane Warren! (How Do I Live, I Don't Want To Miss A Thing, Because You Loved Me, I Turn To You among others)

Startisan - Just

I saw "Never Back Down 2" last weekend and there are actually good songs in there! One of them is Startisan's "Just". Great band!

I sampled their CD "Decades Array Vol. 1" and the other songs that I liked are "Hurricane" & "Dreams of Youth".

'The Hunger Games' Devours $152.5 Million

The odds were definitely in The Hunger Games favor this weekend: the big screen adaptation of the immensely popular young adult novel opened to an enormous $152.5 million, which ranks third all-time behind Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 ($169.2 million) and The Dark Knight ($158.4 million). Remarkably, it debuted above all of the Twilight movies, and it also topped Alice in Wonderland ($116.1 million) for highest debut ever for a non-sequel.
