August 31 is National Zomba Day

Head out to the cinemas tomorrow 'cause it's National Zomba Day!

I attended the Love Yourself Benefit Screening for this film last week and I'm glad it was second in line so I left the moviehouse laughing and lighthearted.

If you liked "Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros" then you'll surely love "Zombadings 1: Patayin Sa Shokot Si Remington".

Back in January 2011 I posted the trailer of this movie and I remember I said something like the word "Patayin" should be "Shutayin" but not all people may relate to that and it already rhymes with "Shokot".

Jigs (Kerbie Zamora) and Remington (Martin Escudero)

I must commend the cast especially Martin Escudero who plays Remington for a very good execution of a 'parloristang bakla'.

And the kiss was such a treat! I guess that's the highlight of the film.

This and "Kape Barako" are 2 sure-fire gay flicks this year and would definitely, definitely wait for them on the DVD shelves.

I'd probably watch Zombadings again this weekend with my hubby, but for now we'll watch "Cars 2" in the mean time. Vroom vroom!

"Zombadings 1: Patayin sa Shokot si Remington" stars Martin Escudero, Roderick Paulate, Eugene Domingo, Lauren Young, Kirbie Zamora, John Regala and Janice De Belen.

Directed by Jade Castro
Screenplay by Raymond Lee, Jade Castro & Michiko Yamamoto

Cosmo Philippines 2011 Bachelors

Meet this year's Cosmo Philippines' Bachelors!

I handpicked a few of the guys. They're too many to upload in a single post. To get the complete set, look for the download link after the photos.

I think these are only test shots of the guys who made it past the Go-Sees.

There are familiar faces from Facebook, male pageants, indie films, TV and print ads.

I will make a bold prediction that either the Younghusbands, Neil Etheridge or Aly Borromeo will make the cover of this year's Centerfolds! (Please make it to Rocco Nacino! LOL)
