Adele's "Skyfall" wins Best Original Song - Golden Globe 2013

Adele's "Skyfall" wins Best Original Song in the 70th Golden Globe Awards beating out Jon Bon Jovi, Keith Urban, Claude-Michel Schönberg for Les Misérables and Taylor Swift.

The award was presented by "Parker" stars Jason Statham and Jennifer Lopez

Anne Hathaway - I Dreamed A Dream

Okay, so I got to hear the full version of Anne Hathaway's "I Dreamed A Dream" last week and I really tried to take out in my mind ALL the other versions that I've heard before.

This is a great rendition. It's powerful and very emotional (just like the snippets from the first few trailers). I can't wait to see Les Misérables when it hits the big screen here in the Philippines next week.

Oscar nominees will be announced this week. Oh gosh, I am so rooting for Anne Hathaway. This will be just like that Natalie Portman moment all over again! LOL

Les Misérables - On My Own

"On My Own" teaser clip from Les Misérables movie with Samantha Barks as Éponine.

Of course I saw this last weekend, so much for that 2 day blog hiatus. Tamad-moments na naman kasi ako.

Anyway, I'm still flabbergasted that this will be shown January 2013 here in the Philippines. Or I should've seen that coming since the trailers clearly says "Christmas 2012"

Iko - Heart of Stone

Aside from Christina Perri's "A Thousand Years" this is one of my other favorite in Breaking Dawn Part 2's soundtrack, Heart of Stone performed by English band Iko.

This was played during the cottage scene with Edward & Bella before the latter discovering Alice's hidden message on the book of "The Merchant of Venice"

Christina Perri feat. Steve Kazee - A Thousand Years (Part 2)

Christina Perri re-recorded this song for the Breaking Dawn - Part 2 soundtrack and appeared in the end credits, which until now haunts me. I think it did justice to the entire franchise and is indeed the best Twilight movie.

The song features Tony awardee Steve Kazee.

Jessie J - Silver Lining (Crazy 'Bout You)

Woah! Jessie J on the soundtrack for the upcoming movie "Silver Linings Playbook" which stars Jennifer Lawrence (The Hunger Games) and Bradley Cooper (The Hangover).

It somehow reminds me of Leona Lewis "Bleeding Love". Hmmm...

Down To Mars - Nandito Lang Ako

I was watching Party Pilipinas last Sunday and saw Down To Mars perform this song. It was very different from the usual that they do (or at least to me).

Then I did a little research that this song was also used as a theme song to a Tagalized Koreanovela on GMA-7.

Tamia - Make Tonight Beautiful (1997)

I never really paid attention to this song until now. It's so beautiful. (It was written by Diane Warren BTW!)

Maybe because there's not much music like this nowadays...

Taken from the soundtrack of 1997 movie which Tamia was also featured, "Speed 2: Cruise Control"
