'Bayaw' opens today

The Cinemalaya NETPAC World Competition top grosser 'Bayaw' has just been given the R-18 rating by the MTRCB. After weeks of meeting with the MTRCB panelists, the controversial film has been re-edited by director Monti Parungao so that the integral scenes that people want to see can still be seen.

'Bayaw' opens today in the following theaters: Robinsons Galleria, Ruben, Remar, Gotesco Grand, Gotesco Ortigas, Isetann and New Cinema Cebu, Robinsons Ermita, Robinsons Bacolod, Robinsons Iloilo, Robinsons Novaliches and Robinsons Metro East.

Starring Paolo Rivero (Daybreak, Live Show) and Janver Daily (Roxxxanne)

Shutter Island

I saw the trailer for this one when June & I went on to see "G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra" last August and I instantly would want to watch this one come October. Unfortunately, June is not a great fan of suspense movies like I do so there may be some convincing to go through pa.

This was from a 2003 novel with the same title by Dennis Lehane.

Starring Leonardo DiCaprio (Titanic, The Beach), Mark Ruffalo (13 Going on 30, Just Like Heaven), Michelle Williams (Brokeback Mountain, Mammoth) and Ben Kingsley (Gandhi, Schindler's List).

Just saw the movie WarGames: The Dead Code at our office pantry via cable TV and got stumped on the end credits song of the movie which took me literally 6 minutes of looking for the damn song! Whew! Record-breaking ito, longest search online haha!

Sounds Under Radio is yet to release their first CD commercially. They initially appeared on the "Spider-Man 3" soundtrack with the song 'Portrait of a Summer Thief'.

'In My Life' movie trailer

"In My Life" stars Vilma Santos, Luis Manzano and John Lloyd Cruz.

This will be the 3rd movie that I will watch from Star Cinema on the big screen. The last one was Ai-Ai delas Alas' "Ang Tanging Ina N'yong Lahat" last year due to June's insistence. The first one was Lea Salonga's "Sana Maulit Muli" in 1995.

Inaabangan dito 'yung kissing scene ni John Lloyd and Luis who play gay lovers in the movie.

Patrick Swayze dies of pancreatic cancer September 14 (local time) after long battle with the disease.

He was best known for his starring roles in "Dirty Dancing" and "Ghost".

'KimmyDora' movie trailer

I am looking forward to finally watch this tomorrow with June along with "In My Life" as well. The first time I watch a back-to-back Pinoy movie was December 25, 1992 with "Shake, Rattle & Roll 5" and "Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal"

I know I am a bit late na in watching this. Checked ClickTheCity.com and meron pa namang screenings ng KimmyDora.

This is the long-awaited launching movie of Ms. Eugene Domingo. Kwela ito! LOLz

And the good news, a TV series is in the works with GMA-7! Yahooo!!! :D

Saw this one while I was having my lunch break at work around 2:30 AM yesterday, talagang natigilan ako.

Regine's version was better. Minsan mas okay kung di siya masyado birit. Ika nga, 'less is better'.
