Max of Ireland is Mr. Gay World 2009
Mr. Gay Ireland, Max Krzyzanowski, becomes Mr. Gay World 2009 in front of a sold-out audience at the grand finale in Whistler, Canada.
After four days of challenges that included surviving in the wilderness, preparing dinner, photoshoots and creating a fashion show, the delegates from all corners of the world are ready to take on many more challenges, as they return back to their countries. Mr. Gay Paraguay (left) is the runner-up for the competition.
Mr. Gay Philippines insured Asia was well represented by taking the "Best Costume Award" and "Mr. Popular Award". Mr. Gay Argentina took Mr. Photogenic Award; Mr. Gay Colombia was supported by the fellow delegates with the Mr. Congeniality while Mr. Gay Paraguay won Mr. Swimwear. Mr. Gay Australia received the Mr. Leadership Award for his efforts at the various team challenges.

51st Grammy Awards
Jennifer Hudson accepted her (first!) Grammy award for Best R&B Album from Whitney Houston
Wow! Some of the Idols won during the Grammy Awards night! Jennifer Hudson for Best R&B Album and Carrie Underwood for Best Country Vocal Performance for "Last Name".
Jordin Sparks was nominated along with Chris Brown for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals for the song "No Air" while Fantasia & Jennifer Hudson for Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals for the song "I'm His Only Woman".
Kelly Clarkson meanwhile performed at the pre-awards night to salute industry icon Clive Davis along with Jennifer Hudson and Barry Manilow.
Carrie Underwood performs "Last Name" at the 51st Grammy Awards
Poor Leona Lewis didn't win any awards. She lost all of her 3 Grammy Nominations for Record of the Year, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for "Bleeding Love" and Best Pop Vocal Album for "Spirit".
Chris Brown backed-out last minute due to an alleged assault to an unidentified woman. Rihanna, also backed-out to the evening's awards night.
Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" won Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals and Song of the Year! Wow! And the album won on the Best Rock Album category!
Ne-Yo won Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for "Miss Independent" and also Best R&B Song. His album "Year of the Gentleman" lost to Mary J. Blige's "Growing Pain" though.

Marco Morales in 'Booking'
After the box-pffice success of "Butas (Loophole)", MARCO MORALES will soon be seen in the Gay Bona indie movie, "BOOKING" where he plays a struggling actor who will do anything and everything just to go places.
Co-staring are award winning thespians Emilio Garcia, Snooky Serna and Ms. Anita Linda.
Showing in regular theaters on March 4, it will have an advance screening on February 23 at U.P. Cine Adarna.

Dennis Trillo renews contract with GMA-7
Dennis Trillo, the country's Drama Prince renewed his contract with the Kapuso station for another two years.
He will soon be working with Heart Evangelista on "Muling Buksan Ang Puso" orginally starred by Vilma Santos and Dindo Fernando plus the movie "My Other Man" under the helm of Maryo J. delos Reyes.
Congratulations! I'm so proud of you, Dennis. Truly one of the country's most admirable and talented young actor.
