Western vs. Asian
This presentation diagram was designed by Liu Young who was born in China and educated in Germany.
An interesting collection of pictograms showing how Western and Asian cultures differ based on a general perspective.
I actually received a similiar spam e-mail at work, but I decided to look for the actual diagrams and layout so here it is.

Wilbert Tolentino @ 2009 Mr. Gay World
Please support our very own WILBERT TOLENTINO (Guys4Men's TOPSHOOTER) in the upcoming MR. GAY WORLD 2009 to be held in Whistler, Canada on February 4-8.
It will be a part of the WinterPRIDE. Wow, parang gusto kong kumuha ng Visa to Canada now na, LOL!
This concern made a stir back at the Guys4Men forums. Let's take all issues aside and support our own. Not just because he's one of us, but as a fellow Filipino.
I tried very hard to point my mouse away to Misters Austria, Brazil and Czech Republic. Oh my!

Melinda Doolittle - Coming Back To You
This song was originally done by Macy Gray.
And I'm lovin' Melinda's version! She made it as if it was recorded during the 60's!
I imagined a music video for this one, pretty similar to the cover of her CD, with Melinda walking the streets of Philadelphia and should be filmed in black and white.
She has pretty great tracks on her upcoming album as well! I was fortunate to sample them all last weekend!

Luis Miguel - Me Niego A Estar Solo
Heard this from my cousin's birthday party. My cousin studies Spanish so she likes Latin artists as well.
Of all the songs from Luis Miguel that was played that night, this was my favorite. Of course I don't speak Spanish so I can't understand the lyrics. However the melody sounds like it is a sad song so I was able to pick up the meaning of the song by hearing the words "solo", "
Track taken from his 1993 CD "Aries".

Roxanne Barcelo - Kung Alam Mo Lang
My boyfriend requested me to download him the song "Because I'm A Girl" by the group Kiss.
I recalled our very own Roxanne Barcelo recorded a Filipino version of that song which I prefer.
Well, the only reason I quite didn't like the original version was because of the spoken verse.

McDonald's - First Love
Ahaha! Sobrang cute nito! To the the tune of Eraserheads' "Ang Huling El Bimbo". In fairness, cute yung guy na may eyeglasses huh!
Pero teka lang, McDonald's! Excuse me! Hindi ganyan nag-uumapaw ang choco fudge sa mga ice cream nyo! Maybe ten years ago, oo. But now? Huh!
At!

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Leo for keeping me in the loop for updates for this film, "Butas". Wow, big-time mga kasama ko sinendan sa e-mail. I feel honored being part of the group list.
But I digress. Okay, about the hot guy Marco Morales, "Butas" regular screening was moved temoporarily to January 28. Di pa raw sure 'yun. Toinx!
If it goes through but with cuts, I might wait for the DVD na lang.
'Ploning' failed to make it to the Oscars
Judy Ann Santos' Oscar bid for Best Foreign Language Film failed to make it to the cut.
Our country never made it yet on that Academy Awards category even a nomination. Kahit nomination man lang sana, it would really boost our film industry.
Maisip ko 'yung efforts and hardwork for the promotion of 'Ploning' for the Oscars bid, nakakapanghinayang talaga.
