This is one of the last original recordings made by my fave American boyband, 98º. Pity, this song possesses their greatest vocals ever. (My fave all-male group is Boyz II Men, but they're British, so...)
Yeah, they didn't have much success like the Backstreet Boys or Boyzone, or even their idols Boyz II Men. But I still love 'em. LOLz
I think they dedicated this song to their fans.

In Memoriam: Dan Campilan (GMA-7 News Reporter)
I am deeply saddened by this. I've always dreamed of seeing him in person someday. Really, really admire his dedication to his work. He could be the next top anchorman for GMA-7, all ruined with this tragic accident.
I patiently wait on every GMA Flash Report, 24 Oras and Saksi for him to appear.
I am sure he has a lot of silent admirers out there. To think he'll be having his 26th birthday in 2 months time.
I do not care what people might say to this post, but with his untimely death, I really felt a sudden loss.
I do not personally know him, but I wish I were.
If there's someone who's reading this is close to Dan's family and relatives please extend my sincerest condolences.
You will be missed, Dan.

NINA - I Need Your Love
This is my fave track from Nina's latest album. It is a feel good song, something I want to listen to on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Though the intro sounds like MYMP's "A Little Bit." But that was a give away.
NINA - Someday
Unfortunately, this is the last track on Nina's new album (apart from the bonus track). I am a bit disappointed on this new offfering from her, I only liked 5 songs on the album (I Need Your Love, Someday, I Do, Ohh Boy & Is It Over?). Kyla's album was better, or her best to date. Am I torn apart between these two wonderful ladies?
MARIAH CAREY - Slipping Away
A nice slow beat song again from her "My Life" album. Hope she releases this one.
JORDAN KNIGHT - Say Goodbye
This is brand new song from Jordan Knight lifted from the album, "Love Songs." This track features Deborah Gibson. I really love his falsetto.
KYLA - Without You
This is one of a few cover tracks on Kyla's new CD, "Beautiful Days." I can't recall the originator of this song but Kyla did a great justice here. Love you Kyla!
GARY VALENCIANO - Only A Friend
I liked this song ever since I got hold of Gary V's latest offering "Relevance." I am a bit sentimental lately and I could totally relate to this song. Think of it as the English version of "Kung Ako Na Lang Sana" or male version of "Friend of Mine." Ika nga nila, 'Ganyan talaga ang buhay...' Oh, well.
NINA - I Do
The carrier single from Nina's latest CD. It's has a groovy tune & cute lyrics, but not enough to top my list. Actually, I would find a better song in an album whenever I purchase/download one. It's always the case.

I'm pretty sure 'sprung' is an overused word in gay sex stories, but I digress. This track is from Mariah's new "unofficial" album, "My Life" or some might call it "Mah Life." It was an instant fave of mine, and right on to the top spot. The verse sounds like the So So Def Remix of "Honey" but, as always, great vocals. Buti hindi sumasakit panga ni Mariah sa mga songs nya.

CUESHÉ - Pasensya Na
The intro/verse sounds like Bamboo's "Hallelujah" (i-sample daw ba?!) and I doubt Cueshé will release this song. But I like this because of its cute lyrics. LOLz "Kaya pasensya na kung may pagtingin na ako sa iyo/Di mapigilan bulong ng damdamin/Isisigaw ko para mapansin mo/Pansinin mo naman ako!"
CUESHÉ - Borrowed Time
Also lifted from Cueshé's latest album "Back To Me," my prediction to be the next radio single.

Not that great vocals, but the song's lyrics actually caught my attention. "...At kahit naglaho ka na/Muling sumama sa kanya/Sa aking puso ay ikaw pa rin/Ikaw pa rin.."
SPONGE COLA - Nakapagtataka
Taken from the tribute CD to APO Hiking Society. IMHO, the best track in the album. Other notable tracks are Sound's "Di Na Natuto," Drip's "Kabilugan Ng Buwan," Shamrock's "Paano" & Top Suzara's "Anna." The others suck big time!

Pinoy Pop Superstar Season 1 winner Jonaylyn Viray was awarded the Industry Award Female Vocal Solo for winning five gold medals in the recently concluded World Championships of Performing Arts which was held in Burbank California. The five golds came from the categories Broadway, Original, Pop, R&B and Variety. Jonalyn was also awarded Overall Champion Female Solo in Broadway, Pop and Original.
On the other hand, in the male vocal solo category, Pinoy Pop Superstar Season 1 2nd Placer Brenan Espartinez also grabbed 5 Gold medals for the categories Gospel, Original, Pop, R&B/Jazz and Variety. He was also awarded Overall Champion Male Solo in Gospel, Original, Pop and Variety (But not in R&B which is ironically, his specialty). He also got the Industry Award Male Vocal Solo.
Jonalyn and Brenan also bagged the the Industry Award for Vocal duet/trio and the over-all champion in the vocal duet/trio category.
In the group category, QTV 11’s Fanjam’s Cercado sisters grabbed the Industry Award for Group Vocals and Over-all champion in Pop, Broadway, Gospel and Original.
Jon Joven won the Gold medal in Broadway category and two silver medals for Pop and Opera and overall champion as male vocalist in the broadway category.
The Philippines won more than 50 medals this year, mostly gold.
It was another tremendous victory for the Filipinos in the World Championships of Performing Arts considering that we have only a few delegates compared to countries like Trinidad and Tobago, USA and South Africa which fielded more than a hundred. Last year we have only 2 delegates: Jed Madela and Rizza Navales and they’ve won 11 Gold medals, 1 silver medal, 3 Champion of the World plaques and a trophy for Jed for being the over-all Grand Champion for the Philippines. It was also the year when Fil-Am Hollywood actor Michael Copon was awarded an honorary achievement award. He even mentioned in his speech that he’s not only representing the USA but also the Philippines because he’s half-Filipino. Michael Copon was this year’s host for the awarding ceremony.
Congratulations also for the following Filipinos who also brought victory to our country: Rachel Alejandro, Faith Cuneta, Kim Flores, Jennifer Bautista, Dex de Rosa, Jeremie Antiporda, Juaquin Tungol, Bim Mangubat, Siblings, Angelo Ortiz, Glenn Cadampog and Rommel Luna.
